Numen Strengthens Its Cloud, Data & AI Business Unit

Consulting firm announces initiatives to accelerate growth in this new area and expand its offerings of integrated solutions in cloud computing, data, and artificial intelligence.

After announcing an investment plan for artificial intelligence initiatives, Numen—a consulting firm specializing in SAP with operations in Brazil, Europe, and North America—is now presenting its action plan to drive growth in the Cloud, Data & AI vertical.

This practice is part of a strategic initiative by the consulting firm aimed at accelerating the practical application of technology in corporate projects, reducing risks, shortening the learning curve, and delivering tangible results to clients sooner.

Among the initiatives announced are the vertical integration of the customer portfolio, the expansion of business units, and participation in relevant industry events.

A Strategy for Integrating the Cloud, Data, and Artificial Intelligence

According to Flávio Molina, Associate Partner at Numen, the new business unit will offer both off-the-shelf solutions and customized solutions, developed according to the needs of each organization.

“This initiative reinforces a movement we’ve been building internally: bringing together the cloud, data, and artificial intelligence under a single umbrella, capable of accelerating our clients’ digital transformation journey. It’s a natural step for Numen to expand our delivery capabilities and anticipate the next waves of innovation in the market.”

The goal is to integrate various technological capabilities into a unified framework, enabling companies to advance their modernization efforts with greater efficiency, governance, and predictability.

The Four Strategic Focus Areas of the Cloud, Data & AI Business Unit

The unit’s portfolio is organized into four strategic areas, ranging from infrastructure modernization to the application of artificial intelligence to business processes.

1. Migration and Modernization on AWS

The first focus is on the migration and modernization of technology environments on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The focus is particularly on SAP satellite applications and legacy workloads, helping companies evolve their technology architectures and prepare for more modern and scalable environments.

2. Data and Analytics

The second area involves the development of data platforms, including Data Lakehouse solutions, the integration of SAP and non-SAP information, and executive Business Intelligence (BI).

The goal is to organize and make data available in a reliable manner, enabling it to be used both in business analytics and by agent-based platforms and artificial intelligence applications.

3. Artificial Intelligence and Agents

The third area focuses on artificial intelligence and agent offerings, including off-the-shelf solutions designed to accelerate the adoption of these technologies within organizations.

Among them is CoE Agêntico, an initiative focused on organizing the governance and operation of AI agents in companies using the AWS artificial intelligence platform.

The goal is to support the structured adoption of agents by connecting innovation, security, and real business needs.

4. Infrastructure Management and Maintenance

The fourth area encompasses services for the management and support of technology environments, including:

  • CloudOps: management and operation of cloud environments
  • FinOps: monitoring and optimization of cloud costs
  • DevOps: integration between development and operations
  • AIOps: application of artificial intelligence to IT operations management

This approach combines technical expertise with an understanding of clients’ business processes, offering an integrated approach to the operation, maintenance, and evolution of infrastructure.

What sets Numen apart: delivering cloud, data, and AI in an integrated manner

In addition to expanding the range of solutions for its current portfolio, Numen aims to reach new companies through its Cloud, Data & AI vertical.

According to André Amorim, the director of the division, what sets the consulting firm apart is the way its services are structured and delivered.

“The traditional market sells these three layers separately: an integrator handles the migration, a data consulting firm sets up the platform, an AI boutique runs the pilot, and the client is left with the responsibility of making it all work together. Numen takes a different approach: the cloud is the foundation, data is the fuel, and AI is the result—all designed together from day one and anchored in the system that already powers the client’s business.”

With this approach, the consulting firm aims to reduce fragmentation among suppliers and technologies by integrating infrastructure, data, and artificial intelligence from the very beginning of the planning process.

An AI-native unit focused on results and governance

The new unit was structured around the concept of AI-native, adopting lean teams and making extensive use of artificial intelligence agents and technological accelerators in the actual execution of projects.

The model prioritizes the delivery of reusable assets that can shorten the time between the investment decision and the generation of value for the business.

These assets include:

  • Artificial Intelligence Agents
  • Deployment Accelerators
  • Data platforms
  • Structured solutions for automation and modernization

According to André Amorim, the goal is to transform the way companies contract and use technology services.

“The goal is not to sell consulting hours, but rather to deliver reusable assets—such as agents, accelerators, and data platforms—that shorten the path from the client’s decision to the value captured. The client buys results with governance, not a pilot project that ends up gathering dust in a drawer.”

Focus on SAP Companies and Expansion into New Markets

The vertical will primarily focus on organizations that already operate in SAP environments, leveraging Numen’s expertise in this ecosystem to integrate new solutions into existing operations.

At the same time, the unit will also serve companies that wish to modernize their data platforms and adopt artificial intelligence on AWS, regardless of the ERP system they use.

This strategy makes it possible to broaden the scope of our offerings, serving both customers looking to upgrade their existing environments and organizations that are just beginning their technological modernization journeys.

Team Expansion and Presence in the Technology Ecosystem

As part of its plan to strengthen its Cloud, Data & AI vertical, Numen also intends to expand its specialized team and maintain an active presence at major industry events.

These initiatives aim to strengthen skills, keep pace with technological trends, and foster closer relationships with customers, partners, and strategic suppliers.

Through the integration of cloud, data, and artificial intelligence, the consulting firm is strengthening its role as a partner to companies seeking to accelerate digital transformation, reduce technological complexity, and turn investments into tangible results.
