Numen Announces New Head of Cloud, Data & AI in Brazil

André Amorim is taking over the business unit with the goal of strengthening the company’s position in data, cloud, and artificial intelligence.

Numen, a leading provider of technology solutions, announces the appointment of André Amorim as its new Director of Cloud, Data & AI.

This initiative is part of a strategic plan to increase investments in cloud computing and artificial intelligence, with the aim of strengthening the company’s portfolio, diversifying its offerings, and expanding its technical capabilities.

This partnership reinforces Numen’s commitment to offering increasingly comprehensive solutions that connect cloud infrastructure, data, and artificial intelligence to meet customer needs.

Who is André Amorim, Numen’s new Director of Cloud, Data & AI?

With a degree in Accounting from the Catholic University of Pernambuco, André Amorim holds an MBA in Business Management and Marketing from FGV and has completed a course in Artificial Intelligence for Business at Faculdade Exame.

The executive has more than 34 years of experience in business strategy, team management, and market development.

Of that time, 15 years were spent in the B2B technology market, working at both domestic and multinational companies and focusing on cloud computing and generative artificial intelligence.

Throughout his career, he has worked for companies such as:

  • Embratel
  • TIM
  • Oi
  • Locaweb Corp
  • Nextios
  • EPI-USE Valcann

An enthusiast of innovation and new challenges, Amorim highlights Numen’s current phase of expansion as a key factor in his decision to join the company.

“Numen has been consistently investing in its architecture and technical infrastructure. My arrival is in line with this cycle of maturity and growth, with the goal of contributing to the development of new businesses, expanding our multicloud capabilities, and ensuring highly efficient solutions using technologies that are truly applicable to our clients’ challenges.”

Numen Strengthens Its Cloud, Data, and AI Infrastructure

This hiring initiative is part of Numen’s efforts to organize and strengthen its Cloud division, driven by the team’s continued growth and the recruitment of senior professionals from the industry.

In 2025, the company posted double-digit revenue growth and a 40% increase in its workforce, reaching approximately 1,300 employees.

This scenario underscores the need to expand technical expertise, strengthen governance, and develop a portfolio capable of meeting the demands of companies at different stages of digital maturity.

Artificial Intelligence and the Cloud as Strategic Priorities

For Andreia Tsuruhame, CEO of Numen, the arrival of the new director represents an important step in consolidating the company’s strategy.

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence requires specialized teams, technical expertise, and solutions tailored to the real challenges organizations face.

“The market demands dynamism, and with the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence, bringing on board an executive with André’s background reinforces our strategy of maintaining a highly specialized team that is prepared to deliver an increasingly comprehensive, diversified, and robust AI and cloud portfolio to our customer base.”

Under its new leadership, the company aims to expand its multicloud operations, diversify its offerings, and strengthen the link between technological innovation and business results.

Management, governance, and security: the three pillars of new leadership

Focusing on medium and large companies, the Cloud, Data & AI division’s operations will be based on three essential pillars:

Management

Improve the organization and efficiency of technology environments by connecting infrastructure, data, and artificial intelligence to companies’ operational and strategic needs.

Governance

Establish structures that enable greater control, predictability, and monitoring of hybrid and multicloud environments, ensuring that technology investments are aligned with business objectives.

Security

Strengthen data protection, the reliability of environments, and the responsible adoption of technologies, especially in a context of increasing use of Artificial Intelligence.

The Challenges Facing Businesses in Hybrid and Multicloud Environments

The current landscape presents increasingly complex challenges for technology leaders.

The increase in data volume, the coexistence of hybrid and multicloud environments, and the pressure to optimize operations call for more structured strategies.

Among the key needs of organizations are:

  • IT Cost Optimization
  • Modernization of Technology Infrastructure
  • Efficient Management of Hybrid and Multi-Cloud Environments
  • Data Governance and Security
  • Integration of Artificial Intelligence solutions into business processes
  • Greater operational efficiency and return on technology investments

In this context, Numen seeks to organize cloud, data, and AI in an integrated manner, taking into account the entire technological journey of its clients—from migration and modernization to governance and operations.

The Next Step: Turning Innovation into Practical Results

For André Amorim, the main challenge for organizations lies not only in keeping up with technological trends, but in turning innovation into concrete, secure, and economically viable applications.

The proposal is to expand companies’ access to advanced cloud infrastructure solutions, data analytics, and tools with embedded artificial intelligence.

“More than just envisioning the future, the current challenge for companies is to make technology practical, secure, and profitable. We want not only to diversify and further strengthen our solutions, but also to ensure that every customer has access to the most advanced cloud infrastructure, data analytics, and AI-powered tools.”

The executive’s arrival reinforces Numen’s position as a strategic partner for companies seeking to modernize their operations, strengthen technology governance, and explore new opportunities with the cloud, data, and artificial intelligence.
