Education has the power to drive a world of opportunities. This is what Numen, a leading technology solutions company, believes in. As proof of this, the consultancy has just graduated the first class of the SAP ABAP Developer Training Program in Goiânia. In addition to being prepared for the job market, participants are also eligible to take part in the company’s selection processes in the region.
The initiative arose from Numen’s commitment to developing people, strengthening the SAP ecosystem, and contributing to the sustainable growth of the Central-West region. As part of this mission, the program was offered to students of the IT program at SENAI Fatesg College.
In total, more than 130 students had access to Moovi’s content track—Moovi is a platform for SAP courses—which includes: SAP ABAP, ABAP SAP S/4HANA, and Clean Core. The program, delivered 100% online, lasted six weeks and included a 16-hour workload divided into recorded classes and four live mentoring sessions. At the end, to validate their learning, each participant developed and presented a project. Of this total, 21 students achieved full certification.
According to Fernando Cunha, Executive Director of Numen’s Central-West branch and leader of the program, the initiative not only aligns with Numen’s educational pillar but also contributes to the region’s growth.
“We had excellent engagement from the students in our course; more than 200 students attended the opening event alone. This shows that there is local demand for market-oriented knowledge. In addition, the fact that this first edition was carried out in partnership with SENAI is fully aligned with the institution’s approach of developing projects with practical applications.”
Located in Goiás, Numen’s branch has been operating for five months. During this period, the company has already built a client base in the food and beverage industry, meatpacking sector, and agribusiness (with a focus on seed and grain producers). In 2025 alone, the unit accounted for approximately 4% of the consultancy’s total revenue.
Far beyond strengthening its operations in the region, the consultancy has a clear goal: developing talent and expanding opportunities. Among the students who completed the program, the expectation is to hire 10 people internally.
“The market for SAP consultants is becoming increasingly scarce. By training developers—especially in SAP Cloud ERP—while we meet our own demand, we also prepare these professionals to work in the regional market, which consequently benefits the Central-West as a whole,” highlights Cunha.
After the positive results, the expectation is to open a new class in the second semester, with the goal of training 30 people.
“We plan to further expand our operations in the Central-West this year, and through this initiative, we are contributing to the development of qualified professionals, as well as democratizing access to knowledge, which is the gateway to new opportunities,” concludes the Executive Director.
