Numen, a leading technology solutions consultancy, has begun its international expansion with a clear purpose: to support its global clients across different territories. This strategic move has led the company to establish a presence in North America and Europe, strengthening its proximity to clients and partners on a global scale.
What began in 2018 as a journey to be closer to its clients in the United States quickly evolved into a growth driver. Numen expanded its operations, entered new markets, and solidified its position as a trusted partner in digital transformation projects.
“Our commitment has always been to stay close to our clients, understanding their local needs while offering a global perspective. International expansion was born from this need and has become a growth engine,” says Eduardo Nagata, Numen partner and CEO of the U.S. operation.
This move is already yielding tangible results: the company now has a team of over 40 professionals hired across offices in New York, Delaware, and Florida, serving global leaders in the Healthcare & Pharma, Aerospace, Consumer Goods, and Manufacturing sectors.
Currently, Numen’s international operations represent a significant portion of its business: in the U.S., the company accounts for 15% of revenue, with a goal of reaching 40% by 2030. In Portugal, the branch has around 30 employees, currently representing 4% of revenue, with plans to reach 10% within the next five years.

Over the years, Numen has consistently exceeded its goals, driven by continuous improvements in governance and its learning curve — both essential to overcoming the challenges of integrating diverse cultures and professional profiles. This recognition aligns with the company’s original plan, which has always focused on expanding consultancy operations through education, data and intelligence, operational efficiency, and business value creation — factors that, in practice, enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
Additionally, the consultancy has invested in initiatives to develop local talent, expand delivery channels, and further strengthen its presence in the markets where it operates. To advance even further in its internationalization journey, Numen is already planning its next steps: opening offices in Central America and Asia. Today, the consultancy already has around 10 employees in the Asia-Pacific region, supporting local projects and preparing for broader expansion in the area.
“We’re halfway there, maintaining performance above expectations — a result of the team’s effort and dedication. Now, we aim to go further and establish Numen as a truly global company, always maintaining our unique approach to delivering excellent service and being the preferred choice for people,” concludes the CEO.
